Liliana Trevizan

Liliana Trevizan, originally from Chile, was a college student and a high school teacher during the military regime, and was also an activist for democracy, human rights, and women’s rights at that time. She came to the U.S. where she pursued a PhD at the University of Oregon. SUNY Potsdam hired her 25 years ago, and currently she is a professor, teaching Spanish language, literature, culture, women’s and gender courses.
