DESCRIPTION / DIRECTIONS: Hepburn 112 is in one of the older white stone classroom buildings on campus. It sits midway up the "hill" with Sykes dorm on one side and remodeled Carnegie Hall (farther up the hill) on the other side. On foot, you can approach it from several directions.  Enter from the door which faces the inner (closed to traffic) walkway where there is a round sculpture inside a very small courtyard. Hepburn sits back from the walkway; Sykes residence and dining center and Carnegie Hall sit on two of the other sides of the courtyard. There are three floors - a ground/basement floor, first floor and second floor. Once inside Hepburn, ascend to the first floor (via a half-flight of 12 stairs). Enter the corridor on the first floor and turn left, classroom 112 is the first door on the left.

PARKING: Park in the "D" lot  or "J'' lot. From downtown Canton: turn onto Park Street at the light (between the between the post office and the park) and drive past the SLU campus to the far side of the campus buildings.

To "D" lot. Turn right (along the back side of the sports complex) into parking lot D (NOTE 1: the small lot facing Park St. is not part of Lot D; do not park there!) NOTE 2: you can park anywhere in lot D without a permit.  You then will need to walk across Park St. NOTE 3: only use the crosswalks! to get to your SOAR classes.

To "J" lot. Turn left into the large parking lot just beyond the the science buildings on the left (and the sports complex on the right). Do NOT park in "FACULTY" or "GUEST" parking spots - these are ONLY for SLU issued parking passes...park in one of the open spots farther from the science building. From J Lot, walk up the sidewalk to Park Street.

Once on the classroom buildings side of Park Street, follow the sidewalk (past the science buildings and several smaller buildings, and finally past a large white stone building (Sykes residence hall); one past Sykes, turn right, and walk up the sidewalk running alongside another (long) side of Sykes. Continue walking between Hepburn (on the left) and Sykes (on the right) until you reach a small courtyard - enter Hepburn from the courtyard side and follow the directions above to the room.

ACCESSIBILITY: No matter which way you choose to come, it is a long somewhat uphill walk to Hepburn; and there will be at least 12 steps to climb once inside. (NOTE: all parking, including handicap parking at the bookstore, is for bookstore clients only!
