Print Info

We begin with a history of papermaking, including comments on North Country papermaking and the paper mills that were prevalent in our region. This will be followed by a demonstration of how to make paper from recycled fibers, a process that you can develop further at home.

Roger Hutchinson is a retired forester who worked for the Department of Environmental Conservation. He has a keen interest in history. He also likes to find out how things are done. As a young man he visited a paper mill and has been interested in the process of making paper ever since.
