In this class, Dr. Doug Rubio will lead a deep dive into some of the most artistic and sophisticated Beatles songs. Each session will feature a small handful of songs from a particular period, each of which will be explored in depth. There'll be songs that you know and love, but also some often-overlooked gems that you may not be familiar with. "A splendid time is guaranteed for all.”
Dr. Doug Rubio is professor of classical guitar at the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, where he also teaches a course on the Beatles. He has been a huge Beatles fan since he first saw them on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964.
