The conflict of views at the time of the founding of the United States of America still continues today. In these four sessions we will examine the tenets (beliefs, principles of religion and/or philosophy) of the American founders. We will look at Revolution’s causes, mythology vs. reality, conflicting ideologies, and at the fact that the conflict is never-ending.

Melissane Parm Schrems is an Associate Professor of History and the Coordinator of Native American Studies at St. Lawrence University. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Fort La Présentation Association.
