This course will cover the early history of the Amish in Europe, their arrival in America, and their growth and dispersal.  Topics will include the continuum of care, technology, economics, separation from the world, schools, family life, and why they are in the North Country.

Betsy Tisdale is a friend of the Amish (a Bridge Person).  She ran a custom quilt and craft business with the Amish for twenty-six years.
