This course will cover the technical aspects of the emerging offshore wind technology.  It will then include New York's Offshore Wind program, and the challenges that are faced in implementing this plan.

Tom Ortmeyer is Research Professor at Clarkson University, and Director of their Center for Electric Power Research.  Ortmeyer has been at Clarkson since 1979, and has been teaching and researching in the power system area during that time.
