May 21, 2025 - Many thanks to all the SOAR members who helped to make the Spring 2025 semester such a success!! Lyn Swafford was the very worthy recipient of the SuperSOARer Award this Spring, and many people were on hand at the May luncheon to help her celebrate receiving this special honor. Her achievements and contributions to SOAR are outlined in a separate segment on this website. For the Fall 2025 registration the SOAR office will be sending out the information and registration forms the week of August 4th, so please keep an eye out. We have a diversity of well over 40 classes lined up, with something for everyone. We are always on the lookout for new classes and presenters, so please let any of the Board folks know of your interest. We take your suggestions very seriously. SOAR has completed its New York State incorporation process and will be embarking on the not-for-profit 501(c)(3) process very soon. A million thanks to Ed Russell for spearheading this complicated yet necessary venture. Enjoy the Fall 2025 lineup, and please let us know what the Board and the SOAR office can do to help you enjoy your SOAR involvement even more. We are all ears! Juanita Babcock, Board Chair
