Igor Sokolov

Igor Sokolov received his undergraduate and graduate training in Russia. He has been working at Clarkson University since 2000, where he holds the positions of Professor of Physics, Professor of Chemistry and Biomolecular Science, NY Center for Advanced Material Processing (CAMP) Professor, and Director of Nanoengineering and Biotechnology Laboratories Center (NABLAB). Igor’s research interests include the areas of soft condensed matter, self-assembly, nanophotonics, sensors, drug delivery, development of composite materials, etc. His résumé is rich in academic publications and presentations. He has pioneered many methods in atomic force microscopy and has received numerous prestigious awards for his work.
