Karl Schonberg holds a PhD in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. He teaches courses on international politics at SLU. His most recent publication is a book on U.S. foreign policy after 9/11, entitled Constructing 21^st Century U. S. Foreign Policy: Identity, Ideology , and America's World Role in a New Era (Palgrave Macmillan, 2009).
