Glenn Johnson is a professor in the biology department at SUNY Potsdam, where he teaches mostly ecology and vertebrate biology courses. His main interest is conservation biology, especially endangered vertebrates and most particularly amphibians and reptiles. He co-authored a recent field guide to amphibians and reptiles of New York. He has taught a dendrology (biology of woody plants) course numerous times, including three times for SOAR.
