DESCRIPTION / DIRECTIONS: Brown Hall 115 is in the one story section on the far east side of the older science complex on the SLU campus. Once parked in lot "J", walk up the hill on the path farthest away from Park St.  Enter the back side of Flint Hall. Walk past the office rooms to the other end of the short corridor, and continue up the half-flight of stairs to the main floor (there is an elevator). Turn right and go to the end of the hall to enter the Brown Hall section of the complex. Continue past the first long (windowed) hallway on left, continue along the corridor, making a couple of short turns (around a corner of Bloomer Auditorium), and then left into the next long corridor. Brown 115 is the second door down on the right.

Alternative Path (not as steep of climb up the hill; no stairs) Follow the directions to the new Johnson Hall of Science, but instead of entering that building, continue along the sidewalk that passes between Johnson and Bewkes Hall (i.e. under the overhead passageway between the builidng. Continue walking straight, through this outdoor quad to the opposite connective entrance between Brown Hall and Madill Hall (computer center). Once inside the vesitbule (with insteresting small geology display cases), turn right and enter borwn Hall. Take the first corridor left, and then turn right into the long corridor. Room 115 is on the left, near the end of the long corricor.

PARKING: Park in lot J, just beyond the science buildings st the edge of campus (and across from the sports buildings). Enter J lot from Park St. just beyond Bewkes Hall. (NOTE: if you miss this entrance, just continue to the service drive entrance for the university and turn left, and immediately left again into the far end of lot "J". Do not park in the spots nearest the buildings marked for "faculty/staff" or "visitor." To avoid a $50 parking ticket, HANG YOUR SUNY POTSDAM SOAR PARKING PASS ON YOUR REARVIEW MIRROR EACH TiME YOU ATTEND A SOAR CLASS AT SLU.

ACCESSIBILITY: The classrooms building is handicap accessible. However, parking is fairly far from the building, and the walk to get there is uphill. It's best that handicap people be dropped off in the circular service drive (entrance from Park St.) near the new Johnson Hall of Science.

RESTROOMS: Women's restroom is in the main corridor on the right (as you enter Brown Hall from Flint Hall). Follow the main corridor to find the men's room i(on the left) near the corner of Bloomer Auditorium. Another men's room is at the far end of the windowed corridor, just before the exit into the geology display area.

TECH and OTHER EQUIPMENT: podium with comptuer (and lab equipment).

FURNISHINGS: chairs /lab tables
