Print Info

This interactive course will offer a unique view of your and your neighbors’ mowed lawns as well as an appreciation of the natural world. The wild creatures we love and admire need us now to supplement their disappearing habitat.

Rachel Johnson holds a B.A., B.S., and M.A. degree. Her primary role is college science teacher. Her secondary roles are social worker and Boy Scout Camp staff member (for water sports, caving and nature). Rachel’s early years were spent on the Allegheny River and in its forests. She is an active member of environmental groups. Also, she performs animal rescues.

NOTE: Bring writing materials to this fun participatory class.
