This course will address environmental, technical, political, legal, and economic aspects of solid and hazardous waste management. Basic themes will include fundamental principles and opportunities, recycling, technology, law and regulations, and case studies.

Michelle Crimi is an Associate Professor in the Institute for a Sustainable Environment at Clarkson University. Her teaching is focused in the areas of environmental science and health, and her research focuses on treatment of groundwater contamination.
