NOTE: Parking for Building Better Bones Parking around 59 Main St is somewhat disrupted due to the construction in front of their building. The Handicapped spaces are still open, so feel free to use them if you have the appropriate Handicap tag. Otherwise, park on the street or in back of the building. There are several interconnected Clarkson lots behind the building, going all the way over to Pierrepont Ave. We have been told that if you use your SOAR parking hangdown, you will not be ticketed for parking in those lots as well.

Decreased bone density concerns many aging individuals. This exercise-based class will focus on safe and effective activities to strengthen your bones (no matter what your age). Each class will start with 20 minutes of presentation (including educational materials to take home), and follow with 60 minutes of exercises specific to building your bones. All ability levels can benefit from this class, as the exercises will be tailored to each individual as much as possible.

Vicki LaFay has been a licensed physical therapist for over 20 years. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist and has experience across the age span with patients/clients in home health, outpatient orthopedics, acute care, skilled nursing and rehab, and occupational health. Vicki currently engages in clinical practice for Canton-Potsdam Hospital, St. Regis Nursing Home, Work-Fit®, and Franklin County Nursing Services.

NOTES: 1) Clarkson doctoral students of physical therapy will assist Vicki in this class; 2) Wear loose-fitting comfortable clothing and stable footwear.
