This lively course includes guided exercise, information on activities of daily living, and education on all aspects of improving bone health. Two levels of participation are offered to accommodate differing ability levels. Level 1 focuses on basic lying down, sitting and some standing exercises and activities. Level 2 addresses standing and more advanced exercises and activities. Each class day participants from both levels, if they so choose, can attend 1/2 hour of education following the one hour exercise ssions. Course instructors will assist individuals in determining the best level choice on the first day.

Stacey Zeigler has been a licensed physical therapist for over 17 years. She is a board certified geriatric clinical specialist and a certified exercise expert for aging adults. Stacey engages in clinical practice for both Hospice of St. Lawrence Valley and Canton-Potsdam Hispital. She teaches in the doctorate of physical therapy program at Clarkson University, and is also busy building her own private practice - "Fun in Aging Physical Therapy.".

NOTES: 1) Clarkson doctoral students of physical therapy will assist Stacey in this class, 2) Wear loose-fitting comfortable clothing and stable footwear.
