The focus of this presentation is on the concept of, and the discourse concerning, cyber terrorism. We will look at cyber terrorism from different levels of analysis: academic, policy making, and political activism.

Harinda Vidanage has been interested in the politics of cyber space for the last decade, so most of his research has been on areas of cyber politics. His topics of study include: cyber terrorism, cyber security, cyber culture, and the global political implications of cyber space. Harinda is a visiting Fulbright Scholar this academic year at SLU where he teaches courses in the government department and also in the Asian studies program.

Harinda Vidange is giving a lecture on "Bioroid Century: Spectrum of Cyber Security and Its Illusions" at St. Lawrence University on Tuesday, March 6 in Griffiths 123. The lecture is free and open to the public. To read more about the topic he is talking about, follow this LINK.
