This course covers the period from 1919-1976, with particular attention to Chinese, American, and Russian personalities, motives, and strategies. It concludes with the Maoist period. Books continue to be written now with the advantage of newly released materials.

Ina Brockriede is a retired teacher. China is Ina’s current main interest. She enjoys sharing what she has learned over years spent studying China.
