In this course, we will examine how anthropologists think about architecture and how people use places and landscapes. We will discuss both institutional architecture as well as domestic – local, national, and international.

Jennifer Campbell is an assistant professor in the Department of Anthropology at SUNY Potsdam. Her work looks at the role of architecture in shaping cultural experiences. She works in Northern South Asia (Pakistan and India) and has a particular interest in Mughal architecture and heritage sites.
