Various types of age-related vision loss will be presented, along with a discussion of the challenges for each type. Resources, types of technology, and strategies for dealing with vision loss will be included in this course.
Sharon Ryan has an MS degree in education focusing on the blind and visually impaired. She has used her knowledge to lead blind students on a mountain climbing trip as well as cross-country and downhill skiing trips.
